Central Carroll Field Hockey program announces its 13th Season for girls in K thru 9th grade (not playing high school) with a focus on fundamental skills, teamwork, building confidence and self-esteem.

Central Carroll Field Hockey is a member of the Maryland Youth Field Hockey League which includes recreation councils from Baltimore, Howard, Harford and Carroll Counties.  Last year our program fielded 12 teams.  Two Clinic team (K-2), Three 3-4 grade, two 5-6 grade and four 7-9 grade teams.

Practices will consist of 2 practices per week at Carroll Community college starting in mid August.  Games are on Sunday afternoons starting the beginning of September.  The season will run through the first weekend of November.  Some travel will be required.  The Clinic team will practice one evening per week and attend several half day play days.

This year we are adding a uniform charge of $50.00.  Each child, except for the clinic, will need to purchase a uniform, tank top, skort and socks. 

There will be no "Elite" team fielded this year.  We hope to have four 7th -9th grade teams and we will try to distribute the talent so teams are equal and competitive.
